STRATEGI STAD GARULES UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA KONSEP MATRIKS PADA SISWA KELAS X UPW SMK NEGERI 1 JEMBER TAHUN PELAJARAN 2015/2016

Abstract


The Student Teams Achievements Divisions Games Rules (STAD Garules) strategy was implemented in mathematics teaching and learning dealing with the concept Matrix at year X of UPW - SMK N 1 Jember academic year 2015/2016. The objective of this research is to find an alternative method to improve students results of mathematics teaching and learning. The model of Kemis and Mc.Taggart was applied. This research has been done in two cycles. The results shown that aftter the first cycle of the implementation of STAD Garules, 72,15% of student were mastery their learning. The percentage increased after the end of the second cycle, i.e., 83,60% was successfully mastery their learning. Beside, the STAD Garules strategy also improved the cooperative students skill; from 32,18% at the end of the first cycle to 67.80% after the second cycle.
